Some of our players earn £300,000 a week so they must be the best in the world.

At times I'm too subtle for my own good . In my opinion nobody who kicks a ball around on a patch of muddy grass is worth anything like the money these nancy boys are paid.

Especially when they can't even be arsed to try and do it well.

But, I suppose, I have no right to complain. I pay for sky sports so I am contributing to the madness.

Assuming a 35 hour week, it would take a person on minimum wage 26.1 years to earn what Rooney/Gerrard and co earn in ONE SINGLE WEEK.
