My wife's face turns red when I drink.

And does she say 'pull my nightie down when you are finished'?.........

Surely they means 8 alcoholic drinks a day not a week don't turn red tho'

Some time ago went to see GP, about nothing serious and was asked about how much I drank 

I Lied  , I mean REALLY lied and said some quite low consumption (well, I thought it was low). I got seriously told off about drinking too much 

And no, my face doesn't go red . . . . yet

(I'm now waiting for a lecture from CEM    )

I used to drink a lot, I thought it was average until I started making a food diary for diagnosing my crohn's and realised I was consuming more than I thought I was.

I have gone from high-risk of dependancy to little/low risk based on the numbers when I do drink.  But then I do go for months of the year without drinking due to my training schedule.

Where does that come from? cwmbo passess the odd comment, bloomin recycling bin has a lot to answer for.......

Please tell me that's a typo.
