Mmmm. 8-)

That's tempting. If they handle as sweetly as an MX5 with that power.

Only 14k on it too. :o

It's only a 1.4 but that capacity is "fired" on every rotation of the engine rather than every other, so it's effectively a 2.8. Effectively a 6 cylinder too, and because it has no reciprocating parts you can rev the bejeesus out of them.  [smiley=evil.gif]

Shame nobody developed them a bit further from their NSU origins really. Due to their inherent low compression they'll always be inefficient in naturally aspirated form but they are awesome when turbocharged. Quite compact and light for the power they kick out too.

I belive the tips of the rotors on early ones were bad and they used alot of oil but I think Mazda have sorted the problem, but I could be wrong :-/

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i seem to recall that they need a strip down after so many miles to replace the diamond tips of the rotary
piston  :-/

what impressed me about the RX8 is the space.

Father tunnie looked at these some years back as a lease car.

He sat in the front in his driving position, i sat directly behind him. I had space, i could easy sit there for hours.

Father tunnie is 6ft2, i am 6ft4!
