Historic mistake or Assured future

Good effort 6/10

It didn't work with North Korea and it won't with Iran.

Looks like appeasement, and that never works in the long term. This problem should have ben nipped in the bud a long time ago, before they got to the point where they could negotiate from a position of some strength.
Cant see he Israelis jumping for joy at the deal tbh.

I am normally a synical type as many know, but I do also feel that you cannot justify taking the moral high ground without letting proper negociations take place.  Otherwise you should just get it over and done with and flatten every country that poses a so-called threat.

If the talks are rational and they work they should be allowed to follow their natural course.  If they fail then you turn the embargos back on.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Good effort 6/10

It didn't work with North Korea and it won't with Iran.

Both dangerous rogue states, but Israel is more likely to start WW3 than either of them.

Israel is dismissive of international law, and because it has access to  nuclear weapons  and a crazy leader, then anything could happen.

Indeed Opti, Israel is the real danger here and will always be the powder keg of the Middle East for some foreseeable time to come.  They have a big chip on their shoulder and it needs to be reigned in.  If ever the prophesy of the Bible is to be proved right about the "Final Conflict" centreing on the Middle East, it will be Israel that will cause it! ::) ::) ::) ::)

Utter nonsense. Israel doesn't want to fight anyone, but in the situation they are in they need to defend themselves robustly.
If all the rogue states, terrorists, uncivilised fanatics and savages who surround Isarel leave it alone, the Israelis wont bother them.
If you look at the countries who are the enemies of Israel, they are mostly the countries who the western world constantly has trouble with because they are zealots and fanatics, who haven't moved forward much from being completely uncivilised savages who want the whole world to return to the dark ages.
The Israelis are our friends in the middle east, its the rest of them who are our enemies.

+1.

After WWII and then independence they have had to fight for their right to exist as a country. Unfortunately, it is the British that have caused this situation by promising everything to everybody in times of war for their help. Iran still threatens to remove Israel off the face of the planet if or when they have nuclear weapons. The problem is that Israel is a small densely populated country and Iran is the reverse making it much easier for Iran to achieve their aims.
