Last time I messed with the mute on a NCDC was a bucket of worms, and a few years back now,  there;s a pin on the back of the HU that needs to be High (+12v) (or was it low 0v?), when I modded  a TM loom it didn't work and had to go directly to the mute pin on the HU, if that helps.

Pin out for mute should be on the HU label from memory.

Ps, did the modded Navi lead work?

Chris.  ;)

Hi Chris.

Have decided its safer just to get the right wiring kit..as linked by RobG..SOT 109 and go from there, as at present wires are everywhere after the last "idiot" I employed  >:( tried wiring it up with the wromg loom. >:(

Yes Sat Nav mod works fine  :y and is neatly mounted on the metal of the parcel shelf. All cables are secured and connections covered in foam wrap so thats a job jobbed..thanks  :y

Just need washers bits as discussed and we are back on track for the "big launch " next week ;D ;D ;D

So sorry Mr BlackViper90210 but I am going to pass on your kind offer as I am surrounded by bits of car wiring at the moment and think I am well overdue a "nervous breakdown" ;D

Well I am pleased to report "The Parrot Flys Again". ;D

Managed to get it sorted after an hour or so of head scratching  >:( as couldnt see why the radio wouldn,t mut down when the thin black mute wires was earthed. After testing and retesting have come to the conclusion that for some reason or another the NCDC2013 I have fitted has has got a fault with the mute and just will not shut down.Fortunatley I have a second NCDC 2013.( as 1 does for emergencies  :D) which afterreplacing works fine and mutes down as it should so all is well with the Parrot and it is working fine.

Just now need to fit the paired screen from the replacement NCDC to get functions all working and thats a jobbed job :y

Still need to sort headlight washer/fit rear shelf/all interior trims/glovebox etc etc and its done ...the End is in sight now :)

Anyone else doing this, do it on a TM loom, and ignore all the Autoleads shite, their compatibility charts are useless (ie, wrong), and the quality of the stuff is suspect.

Do I have the TM loom in mine as I don't have the TM button? ???

No, but every breaker will have a bucketload, and a damn site cheaper and better quality than Autoleads shite

I believe it is a straight forward plug exercise as far as the HU goes, selecting the appropriate connections on the other end to connect the phone kit to :-\

Perhaps a guide somewhere :-\

Send the audio down 2 wires, mute down another, pick up a 12v, ign12v and 0v to power the Parrott, and if its compatible, pick up the conference Mic wires to save fitting Parrott mic. Simples.
