A 'smart' TV is only as smart as it's user. I wouldn't bother if I were you. ;D

If only that were true.

I'm not too worried info about which channel I watch may fall into the wrong hands. ;D

Yes, it's when they see "Llama_porn.avi" being streamed from your NAS that you'd start worrying. ;)

It's basically a Roku box, re-badged, they are a bargain. You can also pop them in developer mode and install Plex Media Server.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmQBcbVLWZc

You can also install other Roku apps this way too. :)

£9.99 buys you the hardware, I have one. (running plex)

You then add on subscriptions for it, Movies, Entertainment (£4.99 offer on now) or Sports day passes.

I'm just in the process of transferring to the NowTV team, i'll be working on their Android and iOS Apps :)

Also comes with BBC and Demand5 apps, all works very well. MrsT likes it, as it comes with a remote so very easy to use.

Also has much better and far newer films than Netflix/Love film.

I did get loads of people here discounts, £4.99 for 12 months! I'll see what I can do for future discounts

Thats why I won't ever have a Sky/Now subscription then. I've got enough shite under the telly, without more ill conceived, ill designed Sky shite.

And I bet worldwide, there are far more Media Centers than Sky boxes ;)

NowTV box is Roku box, so not really designed by Sky :)

There are probably more VW Beetles in the world than Omegas, quantity does not mean quality!
