I get fed up of this every four years. Group of death, too high, too low, too wet. wrong time zone. no bananas

IF England is to win the World Cup it matters not one jot what group we are drawn in, we will still win. To do that all we need is to play skilfully, pass the ball and score goals.

Now if England wanted my advice and of course they won't take it, they ought to introduce a minimum 80% national players in league football not 100% foreign as in some teams. It won't happen because we have our heads in the sand as usual.

And a winter break as the rest means there are far fewer injuries in the second half on the season as other leagues that do have found out.
