New Astra &new Insignia

Went into Vauxhall showroom and had a sit in the astra and insignia , very disappointing  :( Steering wheel height crap in both cars , feels cramped in both as well compared to mig  :( The sales bloke said what car are you driving now , i said MV6 . He said whats that then  :-\

But seriously, the steering wheel is adjustable for rake and reach, I hope?

The adjustment was at full height  :( Was like trying to drive a noddy car  :o

Yep, cant comment on the Insignia but the steering wheel on the Astra has a huge range of adjustment

I know the insignia does too, going by the vxr I sat in a couple of weeks ago.

Went to Nissan , the QASHQAI was more pleasing and far better trim . Easier to get in and out of . He also knew what that shed was in the car park  ;D :D

Must have been the spotty sales bloke that didnt tell me about any more adjustment then  :(

The '57 plate astra we had was a great little car. Very nippy and plenty of reach/rake on the steering wheel. ;D
