Six hours sounds a bit excessive, but it is a) wwd, and b) french

Renault might do a set menu fixed price offer for it, especially if over 4 years old

Six hours is on the money,front subframe has to come out to let gearbox out,that six hours will go up if the captive nuts in the body spin instead of undoing,ask me how I know

no way.. 3 at most..  and thats for a newbie..

Some get away with loosening subframe. Quoted cost Is £550 not a dealer so might be worth taking up Al's suggestion

got it down to £420 using Renault parts and 2 year warranty with an independent clutch co - £380 if after market parts used and 1 year warranty. Gearbox oil about £20 on top of these prices.
