I had a 10 mile range warning earlier today, with still around an 1/8th of a tank, and no light.

Might have to put some petrol in in, the warnings are annoying.

If there was a fault in the system that the system recognises (duff gauge or duff sender) then it sorta tries to help itself by saying 'fault' on the display.

That's what mine does every time I plug in a trailer. It kills the fuel gauge and screws the readout as a result. Unplug the trailerboard and everything back tickety boo again!   :y

Worth resetting the 'Range'? Keep your finger on the R button until it displays - - - , then it 'might' register something, just a thought.
