Well, the Omega has been WIM'd as of Wednesday and it went fairly well.
The M25 was kind to me so I got there about 9:15am to find Tony waiting for me. In the end I was out of there just gone 10:30am and that included the geometry setup and four new tyres.
The place still looks quite like a building site, particularly the reception area, but Tony said that they would be tidying up in advance of the open day on Sunday.
Overall the service was great and he was happy for me to nose around and get under the car. I even got a cuppa to keep me going!
Now for the bad news! It would appear that the wishbones are shot and both the rear track arms refused to be adjusted, despite taking advice from Big Al and using a whole can of Plusgas. So a return visit is in order once I've sorted out the parts...
In terms of driving and handling the car doesn't launch itself at the kerb any more, although as Tony pointed out the right side of the car was actually doing the pushing, and it's good to have four identical tyres on the car again.
