Saw this myself and thought exactly the same 

Seen a story recently about 2 chaps that had been prosecuted for harassing people in the street for they way they dressed and being drunk saying it was a sharia area under sharia law

i am surprised no one has picked up on Universities segregating men and women during certain talks or lectures as it was deemed appropriate.

Do we really believe that a few religious zealots,  including women completely suppressed in full burkhas, is going to turn the vast majority of our 62 million population, that includes many other religions and political ideologies, into supporting Islamic nonsense to change British laws?

No, of course not, and this is just another sensational attempt by the Dailyfail to sell more papers under the pretext of mounting some form of anti-Islamic crusade!  It is shameful, and will no doubt inflame those who lack a few brain cells into taking violent and unnecessary illegal action against innocent people.

The Fascists under Mosley in nearby Cable Street could not advance their evil cause due to mass resistance of more level and democratically minded people in 1936, so why fear a few nutty religious activists?  In our history we have suffered, and survived, many Catholic and Protestant risings, which included the massacre of thousands of innocent individuals, including the beheading of a King, and the banning of Christmas celebrations.  But in the end the people spoke en mass and rose up to stop democratically this religious fever to produce the secular, but tolerant, society of today.

No nutters well ever destroy our British way of life.  Not even the Spanish or French, and Hitler with a military force of millions could achieve that.

If we didn't have papers like the Daily Mail the general populace would have no idea that things like this go on.  Knowledge is power so they say and as we have the knowledge, we should have the power to nip this sort of thing in the bud before it becomes a bigger problem and does threaten our British way of life.    The BBC, Guardian and Mirror were probably cheering them on!    If they could be bothered to report it that is....

Thank you, as there are far bigger threats to our existence than a small bunch of nutters that even the vast majority of Muslims do not support in any way.

But that does not make a story that the "outraged" like to promote, but you join those who have always been there to spread fear amongst the population over the centuries. Do not make the excuse that you are purely the messenger, as surely that is never your intention! By mentioning on this Forum, just a car forum, you are doing more than being a messenger and speading more unnecessary alarm.
