Guffer's Towers
« on: 18 December 2013, 09:31:44 »

Well that's the missus and I in our new place, which is our first home  8)

Downsizing is not fun, even worse when coupled with a move.  Going from a 3 bed with a garage to a 2-bed without meant getting rid of a lot of stuff as well as building a large shed with a concrete base, painting most of the walls due to a dubious colour choice by the developers and dealing with the incompetence of Sky BB and Virgin Media call-centre staff.

Now I am connected to the Net @ 104/9.4MB I am very excited about being able to watch films on demand at last!  My last place had 1.4/0.5MB on a good day.  Plus the Leaf has a proper charging point now and can make full use of the 16A charger rather than the 10A I was using resulting in faster turnaround after the regular trips to Heathrow.

The only problem is that all the stress has turned me a little bit more grey and being the only one who could really carry anything heavy means my back is f.......... :(

But, very happy to finally be a homeowner :y

Virgin streams very well from sites such as Megashare, Watch32, etc  ;)

Merry xmas in your new home.
