No beer
« on: 03 June 2008, 17:47:59 »

I've been off booze for a bit... totally...

I have a big medical on Thursday, and I don't want any traces of it in me.

Looks like I'll just have to have the shakes for now, and get p%ssed on Thursday night ;D ;D

Good luck at the medical .. butif they do a "Liver Function Test" and a "Kidney Function Test" they will be able to guess at your average consumption rate over the past 6-9 months !!!!!  a few days off makes no difference whatsoever !!

Was just thinking the same, with the added advantage that you're more likely to stay rooted to the spot if a hurricane comes along. :-X

After a few dry days you will really enjoy your first couple of beers Thursday night. [smiley=beer.gif]

I had those tests done a couple of weeks ago. At the appointment with my GP he asked me about my drinking, I sort of told him what I drank, and he said that there was no evidence of that in the tests.
I only drink Whisky, so it must be good for me. ;D ;D ;D :y
