Can't shift the Discovery

Put it on ebay, with a reserve of £900 which I thought was low - it didn't go higher than £720  :'( :'(

I don't think the price of petrol is helping at all at the minute....

Which is such a shame as I must admit the sound of a V8 is something else :y

Probably the price of fuel putting casual buyers off :(

I guess you'll need to wait/be lucky and get an enthusiast looking for one... have you tried the LR forums ??

I agree mate, a tank of fuel is worth about 20% of it's value ;D

deal with the London lady dead then?

Try autotrader mag as well as online, Pete said he had no sniffs with online, but loads of interest once in the mag.

I'd stick it in auto trader and land rover owner personally. Ebay doesn't seem to be giving the best results at the moment!

Never really understood why people buy cars off Ebay.  :-/

If I was buying a car, I would want to inspect it, drive it,
check the documentation and check that the VIN plate
matched.

All you are really looking at on Ebay, is an arrangement
of pixels on your computer screen.  :-/

ebay prices are low whether buying or selling so can work in your favour if buying. Take the £1000!!! :y

I've bought a good few from ebay and always do all those things before parting with any cash.
