space station toilet pump repair

was it a british plumber got the job  ;D ;D ;D

how do they keep it down the pan if its a floater ??? what if its the trots  ;D ;D ;D

I believe it's a Russian toilet, and the poop is blasted with compressed air into a container.

As an aside I was watching NASA TV and they were interviewing one of the chaps who is staying on the space station, and the conversation came around to the problems with the toilet and they then mentioned recycling urine into drinking water  :o :-? Yuk!

I remember something on Bad Lads Army a while back, The Sarge got them all to Pee into a bucket before they went to bed, next morning woke them up with a nice cup of tea.



Then told them all what they had just drunk.

That's right, you guessed it, recycled urine after having a purifying tablet droped into it.


Dont think he actually joined them though.  ;D ;D ;D

I bet there's a tin can up there with some very relieved people in this morning.
