Couldn't agree more! I've never been a fan of Whitmarsh.

I'd like to see Ross Brawn replace him personally  :y

It's an obvious choice, now I see it printed Twig. (Thought never crossed my mind before ::) ;D )

Isn't it interesting though, how the founders get pushed out. It will be interesting to see how Mercedes get on without Brawn at the helm.

Hamilton will be disappointed, I think the 2014 rule changes + Brawn was a big part of the Merc package for him

Well I would like to see Ron Dennis back at the helm (with or without Ross Brawn). We need a team to compete with Red Bull.

Can only lead to an improvement, especially if Brawn takes the helm. Whitmarsh need accept he has been a failure, with last season an abysmal embarrassment for a team with such a large budget.

I suspect 2014-15 will be pivotal in terms of keeping sponsors and remaining a big team.

All sports are a results based business with nowhere to hide if you don't make the grade.

There is more to McLaren than F1. So to say Whitmarsh has been a failure overall may be a bit strong.
