Easy to fit. All the bolt mounting holes are pre dimpled in the boot. There is a pre-cut section at the lower edge of a mini facelift so you just have a small cut either side of a flap that folds up to clear the towbar ..... would the facelift be different?  :-\
All the electrics are indeed at a round socket in the boot behind the boot trim. Give the cost of a real GM towbar loom, you could just tap into the relevant wires of the car's loom.

If nobody has the colours to hand, I have them in the back of my Haynes ...... somewhere  ;)

For road lights only ... 12N (black) socket ... if you want the additional power for 12S (grey) socket, or the full 13 pin setup, additional wiring /relays WILL be required

It all depend what you are going to tow .. simple trailer .. 12N existing car wiring is ample ... caravan with fridge, battery charging and the new "Trailer control" - (electric braking to stop swaying) .. needs all the extra supplies .. which are NOT at the boot plug  :)

Thanks Nige ..... I forgot that bit.
Also the socket in the boot doesn't feed the brake lights directly. It's fed from up front (behind the glove box) via a relay base that can be fitted with a check control relay that extends the brake light check of the car to the trailer/caravan - a useful feature for any car that regularly tows.

I've got my mig booked in with Fast Fit Nationwide. They charge £85 +VAT. They done my 2 previous motors too, highly recommended. With the facelift mig, no cutting of the bumper required :y

Electronic detection of excessive "sway" causes momentary application of one of the trailer brakes to help control/eliminate the sway. Requires a dedicated power supply of a reasonable current .. not fitted to my present 'van so can't tell you exactly....

Friends who do have say its pretty good ... :-\ :-\

read all about it ..
