Anyone bought a £3.50 Auriol internal/external thermometer from LIdl recently?

Damn and blast. I bought the last one recently from our local Spanish shop.

Should have checked but no instructions in box (fairly typical). They will give me my money back but I just wondered if anyone had a copy they could scan and EMail me please?

I am guessing no but you never know!

Was it the Auriol Z 31714 GTR CDX/2Baa in black with external sensor?

It was in a box, branded powerfix of something like that. Pic of external sensor had Auriol written on it.

Display only showed int temp, ext temp, time and maybe date. Nought else.
