Miss Vamps seems to go through charger wires like they are going out of fashion, I blame her for bending, twisting and pulling etc...........She tells me that they are all rubbish, "ask anyone" so I am......... ;) ;) :D :D

My ipod lead has been "wired in" to my last & current mig for over 5 yrs and is now being used for my Iphone 4s. Its took some abuse but still working.

With 4 kids being through this house I know the lack of care they have for most things  >:( , throw away generation you know  ::)

That's half the problem, even the car ones, she wants it plugged in but also use the phone, mostly when sitting in the back - less of a problem in the Mig though........ ;) ;)

That's my point, but, as you will find out in 13 years time, she knows it all........ :D :D :D

Not really complaining about her, we are so very lucky, she is a good kid, but has this habit of being able to wrap me around her little finger....... ::) ::) :y

You two need to learn the simplest word in the English language .. and to mean it when you use it ...  :)

It's worked on my daughter (and her brother) for 30 plus years ....

Yep, at home, even with the an extension lead as close as possible, it's very easy to pull the cord. One false move, sneeze, or burst of Touretts ... ::)

And why do I need to say 'No' She is a 'Character' but goes to school, walks the dog, does as she is asked, will do little jobs, will help me with heavy jobs, will help me take stuff the the tip, will empty the car of shopping, does not smoke, take drugs or drink (Yet)........remind me, why should I say 'No' to a reasonable request...... ;D ;D

Well it would seem from your OP that it is not a reasonable request as she seems to be destroying loads of them. I am pretty rough with my charger cables, yet have not had to replace one yet.

Perhaps you need to say no to teach her to be careful with things, which in turn cost money, which in turn might help with learning about the value of money?

I agree with Entwood, if my son breaks something then that's it, he doesn't get a replacement. And despite that, he is lovely and obedient.

No offence, but you are the OP and then contradicted yourself with the above quote!
