Hello to all 

One my customer come to me with Omega, he buy one NCDR1500, put in the car and radio is coded. CD changer in trunk work, music can listen on Colour display he see how car use petrol .... but cant listen radio station and use navigation. Now my question is someone have paired dump from colour display and from 29F160 flash memory ic bin file? Or i am first fool who are try make that?

but i think you cant use different screens to different head units as they are all paired together..

yes nobody work on hard way. no i need paired becouse cant finish with tech 2

What is the best way to read the flash memory, remove it from the pcb?
I did take a look inside there was a 29F400 present.

For us that is only one way. Desoldering cleaning with nitro and put in TSOP48 adapter. Manufacturer work on other way but that is one other story and not for this thematic. And how i can see nobody was work that job ... ill must searching car's on parking and broke inside for lcd and ncdr1500

As per PM, its not as straightforward as putting depaired dumps on NCDR and CID. Also need depaired dumps on CDC3 and Telematics (Phone unit).

What state are the various parts in (paired? Pairing Code known? Paired to what?)
NCDR1500?
GID (I assume its currently a GID)?
CID (I assume you want to fit CID)?
CDC3?
Telematics?

becouse im not understand you aswell (my bad english) for 2-3 days customer will send me radio and display too ill give you picture, just tell me if you have customer who have died ncdr1500 and you place other ncdr1500 on display u see SAFE what u will do?

At this momment no but u can write procces if you wish, it will be helpfully too, actualy

GID = normal display not colour just yellow colour

CID = colour display and support navigation

In the car is colour display. Radio is like i said NCDR1500, in the trunk is cd changer ( i think its a CDC3 but im not sure and CDC isnt important in this story) original radio is died. Customer buy other NCDR1500 fit inside in car turn ON ncdr1500 cd changer play normaly but when press "tuner" button on display is SAFE, if press "nav" same situation safe on display so ... he was go to opel dealer service but in service they are told him how need PIN to MARRY radio with display. PIN code wich opel dealer need is pin writed on carpass from car wich is donator of ncdr1500 how customer no have pin code and opel dealer cant help him, he ask me for help about that case. Now TheBoy i hope how is clear and we dont need talk about CDC3, is in car fitted GID and you assume how i wish fit a CID. What is paired dumps i will try make clear it too. If you have in car NCDR1500 and CID display and all work ok ( i mean navigation, radio station) take out from car display and NCDR1500, both unit dissassemble from NCDR1500 (from bottom side) desolder both AM29LV160 and read with programmer and AM29LV200 and from CID (at this momment i dont know wich memory inside is) read memory u have "paired dumps" .... that dumps will work in all cars where you have CID and ncdr1500 (its hard way but will work 100% each time)

ufff i cant remember when i write too much like now

Its still not clear what has happened?

Was it all working when it had a GID, but owner has tried to upgrade to a CID?

IF yes, was the CID in depaired mode?

If yes, I may be able to help.

So the CID, Cd Changer and telematics are all from the original car (and hopefuly the code known).

The NCDR1500 is from a donor with unknown PIN.

So what needs to be done is the PIN for the NCDR1500 needs to be 'found' via some means

@Marks DTM Calib that is correct. All is original except NCDR1500 wich is from donor car, becouse on opel service cant marry with tech2 display with ncdr1500 all come to me. I have all on my desk, im open CID read memory and get PIN same like on CARPASS wich customer make photo and send to me via email. Now i search pinout of CID need GND, +12V and communication line CAN H and CAN L to connect with ncdr1500 and test on my desk

Can you tell me where you can find the pin in the memory dump from the 29F160.

As said via PM, plenty of depaired ncdr1100 dumps on the net. No idea if they are what they claim.

ncdr1100 and ncdr1500 are the same unit, its a tech2 config to flick between 2.


Alternatively, I have a depaired ncdr1100 here, can the eprom be read in situ?
