What do they mean?
« on: 25 January 2014, 19:52:21 »

Not sure if this is right section but if not can an admin move it please? So then, afew years ago you could go into your local Ford dealership and buy a Focus cc for your dosh you got a coupe convertible[or the other way round if you prefer]which was one of the hard top convertibles,so far so good.Fast forward to the present and you can now go into your local VW dealer and buy a Passat cc,what do those letters stand for?it may or may not be a coupe[depends on your viewpoint]but it certainly isn't a convertible. So if one letter stands for coupe what's the other one for?Or is it a cc do distinguish it from the "ordinary" Passat saloon?

Nor did VW judging by the rear headroom ::) had to make it a four seater so as to make it seem more spacious in the back ;D

Coupe Cabriolet I thought?

Usually. But for the Passat it stands for comfort. It certainly isn't a cabriolet.
