Corsa van. Car 2003 radio code
« on: 27 January 2014, 07:37:33 »

Usual story, battery gone flat, replaced.

Radio code needed, owner finds out the car pass was not passed on from the previous owner. So no code available. He never needed it before, the battery is original to the car, in 2003. :o

Anyway. Dealer for the car pass or is there a work around?

I did suggest its worth getting the car pass in case keys get lost etc.

Hmmm. I'll ring Vauxhal later. See how much a car pass is these days. If paying that much at DND it might be as well to pay Vauxhall and get the complete set of codes...?

Thanks Rob. :)

25 notes is the going rate, some maybe slightly less, others much more.  :y

Always better to get the car pass as you then have the key number, radio code and the vehicle security code.

 ......

??? I don't like having just one key .... even having a blade cut so you could get into the car would be a step in the right direction. My daughter just has one for her car (52 plate Seciento) but as it'd have to be a £200 dealer option she just hopes she doesn't lock her key in the boot ....... again!  ::) ::)

As it's an ex Royal Mail van, in Red obviously, he'd probably just by another key from Royal Mail.....which comes with a free van anyway ;D
