Go see your doctor and ask him/her to prescribe you "Ensure Plus", it's a milkshake type drink especially for people who are medically underweight.

Tastes disgusting tho !

Eat high calorie foods BUT make sure you don't get your calories from rubbish. Also, don't lose focus on making sure you get your 5 a day of fruit and veg.

I have a very minor eating problem, for two reasons, one I am a VERY slow eater, due to a slight deformaty, and two I have a very small appetite.

I have to really focus to make sure I eat properly each day, but I cannot stress enough the importance of a varied, healthy diet.

Filling yourself on junk food just to put weight on actually won't achieve it, because without all the other nutrients your body won't be able to process what you're giving it, and you'll also lower your immune system.

I've written up a few basic daily "menu's" that I have mentally used for a while, I'd be happy to share!

Your right, that's why I dont eat loads of crap and was looking for other ideas, eating is an effort, most of the time due to previous surgery.
I would be interested in any menu ideas you have, when you have some time, thanks. :y :y :y

The hospital have changed product from ensure Plus to Fortisip, less calories iirc but much nicer to drink, very much like a milkshake, soo how it goes. :y
