Slept late this morning.

Light breakfast of toast and tea then out for a walk of a few miles with wife and hound in a cracking winters morning.

Lunch in a nice countryside cash magnet tea stop whilst managing to avoid an overspend in the shop by mrs H21.

Done some essential DIY in the house whilst other half did the weekly shopping.

Watched the rugby with a couple of beers.

Cooked a rather nice steak dinner washed down with a tidy red then browsing OOF whilst the wind gets upto a mild gale outside before I walk woof before bedtime.

Booked-on just after 9am and spent the day transporting hundreds of rugby fans into Cardiff.

Must've crammed over 300 boyos/girlies into our 4-car Pacer formation at one point, and several of the lads kindly assisted me in loading a wheelchair-bound passenger too. Plenty of "hiraeth" on board: banter, beer and song - 'twas like a Welsh male voice choir on wheels!

Nice too, that they thanked me and Tommo my driver for a safe, pleasant and punctual journey into the Welsh capital - my ticket machine worked overtime!

Home at 6.30 for a nice chicken madras washed-down with a bottle of Doom Bar.
Hoond walked (between storms), nice hot bath and now at peace with da world.

Off up the wooden hill soon ... rising at 6am for another turn of duty on the Valley Lines
