Wheely bin was propped against the side of the M3 .. seemingly gently though as there was no damage. Miraculously the anti-gravity fence stayed up (that's the one where only two of five posts are actually connected to the ground, the rest have rotted through) and the 30' oak and 40' fir are still standing in the garden, thankfully!

Do you own a country estate, Aaron?..... ;)

If only.. they're all of 15' from the house and that's the edge of the garden ;D

That is pretty close for a pair of mature trees.

Roots under the house?

I try not to think about it! There was one even closer until we had it taken out..

The bin was round the back of the house this time - I'd moved all ours back (next doors were still flying about in the car park, of course!) behind the house to keep them a bit more sheltered.. so it had only 'walked' about two feet to the car.

Still surprised there was no damage, though.. even more surprised the fence is still up given how much it was moving last night!

We had our nine year old fence replaced in November... fortunately had the foresight to replace 3" posts with 4" ones... doesn't even rattle now 8) bits of trees and buildings everywhere, but it is at least dry :-\

I reckon there were more wheely bins than people in town last night ;D

.Yes. I'd much rather live in the south and pay £300,000 for a two bed flat. Much better than the five bed house you could get up here. :y
