£300k . . . .

£200k . . . .

£100k . . . .

Even £50k . . . .  a week is just plain stupid.

£50k is higher than the national average ANNUAL salary

Who causes this ?  . . . . the public, by paying to watch it.

 . . . . . . but then, I wouldn't say no, just for a few weeks . . .  ::)

I don't go to match's nor do I subscribe to Sky, BT etc so I don't really care to be honest.  :)

However what I am happy about is that for kicking a bit of leather about Mr Rooney gets the pleasure of contributing approximately £7,321,312.64p to the exchequer!  ;D   This will leave him with the pittance of approximately £8,278,687.36p to live on and buy handbags and Ferrari's etc ::)  ;)

Seriously, I am quite disgusted by this and, although it won't make the slightest bit of difference, I am cancelling sky sports at the end of the football season. As I only have sky for sports, that means cancelling altogether.
It may seem like cutting my nose off to spite my face, but enough is enough. It's an obscene amount of money, esp in today's world and, although I will miss it for a while, I will feel better about myself.
Perhaps if a good few more people did it, reality may sink in, but I doubt it.

I doubt it as well. What will happen is that Sky will put loss of customers down to competition from BT Sport and so throw even more cash at it. That's how they think.
