I used to like going abroad, when i was a tech installing 'large' computers/fixing them...

Business class on flights.....top class hotels (to ensure the receptionists could speak english)

Better on installs, because they would send two of us (hardware tech and software tech).....so at least you had someone to chat to in the evenings....

Not so good on repairs....then they would only send one tech....

Company Amex card that was never questioned (unless you charged £100 bottles of champers to it!)

Shame they went bust......i dunno why  :-\ ::) ;D

Same place isn't it?  ::)

I used to see a girl who lived in Shepard's Bush and lived 5 minutes walk from the tube, although allegedly that took her into West Kensington.  :-\  She was a bit of a social climber.....  ::)

I will when you are sitting on the early morning BA flight from Heathrow to Paris for a few hours where it is delayed due to fog. Been there, done that, where Paris is in a fog basin.  ;) :-[ :P ;D

I will likely take the Eurostar to Paris but fly to Lyon.  BA and SqueezyJet do the latter.

Oh the joys of Satolas (believe the names changed now - also hope the airport has, was such a dump!!)  Always ended up there on a Friday night, and flight always delayed - used to swap tickets and fly a Swiss flight into Zurich, onto a flight to Brussels (have a meeting/drink with my Belgian guy), then back to UK landing before the direct Lyons flight.

There is a lot of regeneration work going on there and you can tell that when it is finished it will look pretty decent :y

The French population of Lyon have my greatest condolences, the Parisian’s however deserve everything they get.....
