Fitting a Clarion CX501E into 2002 Omega
« on: 27 February 2014, 14:18:12 »

Hi all

I want to fit a Clarion CX501E into a 2002 Omega but understand its a very tight fit. Has anybody done this and have any advice before I start.

Many thanks

I fitted a Kenwood unit at Christmas and it wasn't as bad as I expected. The patch lead fit the steering wheel controls makes it a little tighter but it's easy to route the cables so it fits  :y

I've fitted something similar, the key is to be patient and route the cables carefully - I removed the full centre console in order to pull them through taut. Worked well and isn't offensive to the eyes :y
