« on: 09 March 2014, 19:03:09 »

lovingly fondled a black seven incher?

My first time was way be 1976, when as an impressionable 16 year old, I bought Golden Years by David Bowie.......soon followed by Wild west hero from ELO. :)

Oh, I can remember, but that is a very personal question and I think the chap concerned would be must insulted if I described it as being only 7 inches! :o :o :o :o :o

As for records, well Lady Madonna by the Beatles in '67' was one of the first purchased. :y :y :y

The Great Pretender by The Platters...In 1956, waited 7 weeks for it to arrive from America. Bought 'The treasure of Love' by Clyde McPhatter (original lead with the Drifters) while I was waiting.  :y

Oh yes, I used to wait for that to come on the radio on a Saturday morning during a regular programme that played the latest records  "My Car Went Beep Beep Beep", "My Heart Goes Boom diddi Boom" (Sophia Loren and Peter Sellers), and "Little Doggie In The Window" were also amongst those songs that were my favourites :-* :-* :y :y
