How can you Miss an big    Omega
« on: 09 June 2008, 09:34:32 »

On the way into work today and all was going fine coming up to the last roundabout of the trip in, and almost got side swiped by a car changing lanes without indicating. Had to hit the brakes hard  and pull into the hard shoulder. How do you miss a car this size in good light.

They just drove on an almost cut up a another car. What an ASS. >:(

could have been worse , my heart is still beating fast now but at the time it was like it was happening in slow mo.

Rejoice! You don't know how lucky you are!  My (non-driver) wife concentrates entirely on my driving.  If the needle passes 70, it is remarked upon.  If another driver makes a mistake, I'm at fault.  If I ever use the kick-down, she turns white and grabs the edges of the seat.

She can't read a map, but thinks she can, and she argues with the sat-nav.  The children won't go in the car with us any more.  She behaves normally when anyone else drives.

We don't go on many trips nowadays.   :(

OK, I'm not the world's greatest driver, but, honestly, I ain't that bad. :(

That's normal. I get into trouble for obeying the sat nav because I should, of course, be obeying Mrs. KW. Then commands from the sat nav are relayed to me via mrs. KW which normally means I've already passed the turning by the time I get the instruction to turn, and that's my fault for driving too fast, of course.

Then I get "why is it taking us this way?" The whole point of having sat nav is that, If I can't be @rsed to plan a route, I don't have to care why it's taking us up whatever road. >:(

What luxury - a "t'pothole" of your own - we had to share with a family of displaced koala bears and a baby hippopotamus.

Er - sorry about the pronunciation - I'm a soft southerner who can't manage the "t'"
