Cheap cambelt kit
« on: 19 March 2014, 09:49:16 »

Any good to anyone?  :-\

Ah that's supposed to be an ebay link.......  :-\  ::)

So it's a Gates V6 cambelt kit for £42 + £10 postage item no. 161250009059

Seems like a good buy on the face of it.  :)

If its a proper Gates kit (rather than just something thrown together that happens to use a Gates belt), then it will have SKF bearings. Based on that, for a V6, that's a good price. Remember that the V6 may use 3 different kits, 2 are interchangeable by swapping backplates.

Downside, being egay, you can never tell if its what it claims.

Indeed, Caveat Emptor!  ;)

Why didn't the link work TB?  :-\

And it's not my item either, so feel free to delete if deemed inappropriate.  :-\  ;)
