Battlebus headlight bulbs
« on: 19 March 2014, 20:02:31 »

Bugger. I need better bulbs, as like all Vauxhalls, the dipped beam is shockingly bad.

Needs to be from Hellfrauds, as buggerall else around here except Euroshiteparts and GSF. So rules out Nightbreakers and +50s

Anyone tried their upgrade bulbs? I have a trade card, so that will take some of the sting out :o

Time constraints make online ordering unfeasible.  Still waiting for some retarded egay seller to post me a radio that I won about a week and a half ago. So needs to be local.

Also, due to said retarded ebayer, I need to fit another radio to car. The only single DIN I have that fits is an NCDR1100. And given the Battlebus has a unique display, I'll be bodging a GID onto a Zafira TID that I picked up cheap. And making an MP3 interface. And removing all her Abba off her phone  :-X

Bought these off the bay for the Omega - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OSRAM-H1-NIGHTBREAKER-HEADLIGHT-BULBS-90-BRIGHTER-/271028508108?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f1a8ed5cc - arrived extremely quickly (2nd day after late night purchase), and great improvement ;)

Time constraints mean it has to be from a local shop. So off to the land of the inbreds in the morning.

Don't think he'd dare go there in a vehicle that is probably too power-challenged to leave rubber. :-X

Upgrade to HID's :)

I took out the D2S bulbs coz they went dull and installed a pair of H7 HID's instead... They just about fit with the D2S twisty holder thingy and work well too :)
