Is this a good broadband/phone deal?
« on: 25 March 2014, 16:12:28 »

I received this offer in my email today, and it looks a good deal - unless you know better?
Anyone had experience of TalkTalk?

The M.I.L got one of those TV boxes. After getting me to install it, there was zero evidence of anything other than rubbish channels that you have to subscribe to, so it went straight in the bin. ::)

Thanks Kevin.
I don't need the box anyway as I bought a Humax YouView box for Xmas, hence the need for unlimited broadband because 'Er Indoors keeps wanting it connected online so she can catch up on programmes she has missed! Also, BT are still charging me lots more than they do new customers and I've been with them for decades......

TalkTalk is part of the Carphone Whorehouse, so you know to expect shit service, and even worse service if it goes wrong or you wish to cancel. My mum had a hell of a job to cancel and go back to BT.

Oh dear. Thanks, TB; I forgot the old principle - "if it seems to be too good to be true...."
