MID and aftermarket radio
« on: 02 April 2014, 18:07:28 »

I would like the MID to just keep displaying the date when the radio is on, rather than a blank line.

Does anyone know which wire in the loom tells the MID the radio has been switched on?

Many thanks

Steve

I'll have a gander, but I think there is also a programming option. Might be Tech2 only though...

You don't happen to know which colour that is in the loom?

It was one of those, the white /red and red / white both look the same to me.

I took a chance on the one connected to 'power antenna' on the radio and snipped it and my date now stays on screen.

Many thanks for the help  :y
