Thanks Jamie  :y

Yes even with speed turn right down and then switched off on the panel the blower is still working ?

It's remaining on even with key out the ignition

So would you replace hedgehog first ?

I think what TB is asking is if the control panel is telling the fan to slow down/switch off yet the fan still runs then the resistor (hedgehog) is at fault.

But if the fan runs due to a faulty signal from the control panel then the problem is the panel...

Tech2 can show you what control output is being sent to the hedgehog... ie if controls set to off, and Tech 2 says /confirms signal is off, the hedgehog faulty, but if the signal says anything different to the climate display then the controls are faulty :y

The climate panel has its own ecu built in, hence the fault being either the control panel or the hedgehog :y

If you're passing, I can plug in, if no other local member can help.

Hedgehog is an easy job, though slightly time consuming due to glovebox removal

I know its possible without, but I find it quicker to do so...  ...that said, the last one I did, the thing was jammed in place, so needed plenty of prising ;D
