Hi , i'm going to be servicing my car next week and dose any one know what the best oil if for it, the car has done about 134000 miles.

The best thing you can do for the engine is change the oil far more regularly than schedule. Every 3k is ideal for our petrols, bit longer for LPG cars, and absolute max for tractors.

Given that, any oil will do.

I personally use GM's 10W40 in both my Omegas (and my previous ones, and my Rover before it was idiotted by some bint, and my Kawasaki before I melted it. Oh, and the lawnmower, before I melted that as well). On Tradeclub, its cheap (£48 for 4 x 5l), and its decent quality. But more than that, its known to work well in our cars, unlike some oils such as Castrol Magnatec.
