Hello Mike are you still there or sulking? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

How the heck, when I AM RIGHT, you still seem to make me wrong.
Fact;
Sweeny in the 70's like I said.
Ford Consul. like I said. if they later used Granada's they were Mk 1's
You lined the link to the 70's and this car to the Sweeny not me.
How is it that as a woman you can still make a bloke, who is right look wrong? I will be back in a couple of minutes. :-[

That is because you stated in your first posting :"At last, Got You.  This is the 80's and the Sweeny was a Consul.    And I am right".  You were wrong on the 80s, and at that point I had not mentioned Granada's, but you thought I did.
Afterwards I  repeated it WAS a 1970s show, and featured BOTH Consuls and Granada's, but mainly Granada's! ;)

Am I right or am I right? ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Cos you commented on the link.................
The link was an 80'car

And where did you mention Granada's and Consuls????????????????

Why am i still loosing this??????????????
 ;D ;D ;D :y :y :y

Because Mike you are still missing the facts of my first posting:

Reply #1 - Yesterday at 23:25      Yes indeed, the great 1970s!  We all wanted one of these, especially once they had appeared zooming around in 'The Sweeney'   Bloody lovely!

Where I CORRECTLY state 1970s and you so quickly jump in and state, incorrectly, that it is the "1980s" and a Consul not a Granada is involved ( where do I state in this posting it is a Granada?)

I then follow on later to state the Granada is used in the main, but with a Consul as well.

See, thats why I am right you were wrong on the "1980s"!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

Poor Mike! ;D ;D ;D

Because the opening link by Amigo was:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=330242160368&ssPageNam...

which featured a Granada, and in fact Entwood also mentioned a Granada, (still I had not, although I did intimate that we all wanted one of those and you ASSUMED I meant the Granada (which would have not been incorrect!) then MUCH later after you thought you had caught me out on the year and car, I mentioned that both Consul's and, mainly Granada's were used in the show! ;D ;)

You see Mike that is how I am right and you are wrong! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) :y

But I was talking about The Sweeney a 1970s show which you claimed was in the 1980s!  Check Mate!
 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

To clarify one thing although the Granada went out of production in 1985, it was for all intense and purposes a car designed and built in 1970s style and engineering, as indeed was the Mk 4 & 5 Cortina (out of production in about 1982/3 if I remember correctly.
