The car linked was from the 80's

My Dads mate had one what a gorgeous car at the time....We went blackpool for the day in it and Dad was sitting at 90... really luxury when we had a Vauxhall Viva :y

I had the 3.0 Granda in PX againt my Daimler Sovereign 4.2 when I did a business deal.

Nice smooth drive, the guy had neglected it, no reverse on the auto box and need a HG doing.  Sorted out the HG by having the heads skimmed and ne set of gaskets atc.

Then the exhaust started blowing, had a new one fitted, hat arvo the flipping thing caught fire under the hood and was a write off.


Smooth drive though with that V6 rumble.
