I had a 79 model 3.0L GHIA, the one before this one without the motorway barriers for bumpers :).

Typical yank tank though, wallowed like a pig in the bends but really comfy on the motorway :).

At last, Got You. ;D This is the 80's and the Sweeny was a Consul. ;D ;D ;D And I am right. :y
Nearly right. the infamous Sweeney "Granada" was a Consul 3.0 GT but made in the 70's. :) :D

Loved the sites. Gives history of all cars. How much will the one under restoration make when it's finished? 8-)

I would have thought, with its Sweeney connection, it has to be worth £8,000 - £10,000 :-/ :-/.  If I had the money Amigo I would certainly buy it if for sale. :y
