What exciting things happen where you live ?
« on: 24 April 2014, 08:28:12 »

At present I live half in London and half in wales.

In London my local news often consists of gangland killings, car crashes on the M25, the odd shooting and/or robbery etc etc

At the Wales end, we get this . . . .

It would have been a different story if it had been a stray ewe!  :D  Seems a tad extreme though.  ::)

We just had a tractor go by. ;D

Surprisingly Spring is the peak time for suicides in Spain. A single bloke in the nearby village went last week. Very sad.

I was kind of hoping that "lunatic focus man" would be planning an encore to keep us entertained but no, the chip shop has been repaired and nothing else whatsoever has happened since. ::)

Excitement here....some bloke has been parking his van outside my neighbours house recently. He was followed one night, and it transpires he is knocking off a bit of skirt in the next road. Nothing we can do about it...

But.....now he is parking it 50yards further up the road outside my mates house. He is p****d off. He is a policeman, and he is going to sort him...

Ooooooh, its so exciting :y :y

We had two police cars parked up in our works car park at lunchtime, and two more just around the corner. I hid  ;D.

We had similar happen in Swindon, about 12 months ago, except the bloke reversed his car at high speed through the doors of a pole dancing club in the early hours, when it was shut, but the manager of the place was upstairs asleep  :o . The place caught fire, but manager got out ok, as did the lunatic driver......its recently been repaired but still hasnt reopened.

http://www.carmarthenjournal.co.uk/Farmer-s-cow-shooting-shock/story-21033274-detail/story.html

I have to say, My new house is just up the road from here. the main danger is not from errant cows, but from boy racers in clapped out hatchbacks  ;D
