So, as it's the first decadent bit of weather this year that we have both been able to enjoy, due to work commitments, she wants the garden furniture out.
what will happen is;
We (I) spend the rest of the day emptying out the shed to reach the garden furniture, clean it and the decking with the jet wash, to get the winter mildew off.
Then do the gardening. Trim the centre bed. Cut some bushes and trees back. Fill the garden waste wheely bin, then spend an hour or so looking for other recipticals for the excess trimmings.
By which time it will be evening and time for tea. So tea in the garden, a nice meal, all while the sun goes down, and she'll spend the duration moaning its cold. The LPG in the garden heaters run out so I'll be tasked with a new bottle next week, as I'm back on shift tomorrow.
By which time the weather will have turned, it will be windy and raining and the whole lot will have to go back in the shed soaking wet so it's nice and mouldy for next year.
Why bother?

..... Or will we get a decent summer this year, as I suspect. (Probably not now the garden furniture is out, as has happened every year

)
