At the beginning of the month I had to get my screen replaced, The guy from Auto Windscreens done an excellent job of it as the old one had so much black goo holding it in it stuck my roof lining to it as well so he had a hell of a job getting it out , Anyhow all has been fine up until Tuesday when i went to go out & found the outer trim had popped out along the top & it had buckled to buggery down the edges , Phoned up the fitters who sent the guy back to inspect it today, He has admitted that it must be a crap part & that the sun must have distorted it , He says he cant replace just the trim as he reckons the bit the trim clips into is crap as well so will have to put in another screen from a different supplier but cant do it until next Thursday, (which is a bit of a wait if you ask me), Has anyone else had this happen or is it the unlucky alf syndrome rearing it's ugly head once more?.
