I have a question, if the drivers door solenoid was to pack up would it set the alarm off, I have trouble with the drivers door sometimes would not lock   :)

No. But the alarm will go off if the door is unlocked via the key.

Might suggest a genuine alarm then. As opposed to a power sounder fault.

Might need tech 2 to find which sensor is tripping it.

But see what others say I'm shite with electrics. :-[ ;D

Can you lock car with key?, if yes, can you unlock it using remote? if so should be ok as i had to do this with mine
for a while due to lazy solenoid. Give it a go.

if you take lock/solenoid out--sometimes it plastic lug on top of solenoid becoming dislodge by slamming door--did pas side front week ago :y

Mean time, remove power sounder and horn. To shut it up.
