Hospital tests for Doctor Opti
« on: 30 May 2014, 18:38:51 »

I've just returned from the quack, he wanted to have a chat about my recent blood test results.

He's sending me to hospital for something called a 'bone marrow biopsy'

In it's most basic form, they remove a core of your bone marrow using something similar to a glorified corkscrew. Sounds like great fun. :y ;)

Has anyone on here undergone this routine procedure? .

Ive had a kidney biopsy,a lymph node biopsy. And was told plenty of local anesthetic and you wont feel a thing, and they was right, but take some paracetamols before you go and after the procedure :y

The reason you take the paracetamols before and after is to ensure they are working to help with any pain you may get, but then iam not as under qualified as DR cem. Or a renal consultant who told me 8)

Personally, I think that the quack is overreacting. I feel as fit as a 'butchers dog'. :y

Lot of fuss about nothing really.
