DTi test drive results after clutch kit change

But I'll give you a clue. Gear change and clutch is now perfect. This is a separate fault.

Anyone guess why she broke down? :y

Hm.. throttle pedal? Or injection pump as Al says..

BTW what colour is the car? I can't tell if it's that slightly unusual blue or green reflecting the sky.. but it looks quite nice.

Chain suggestion isn't a slur on the previous owner btw :y simply the law of sod... ie that's the sort of shit that happens to me ::)

Oh dear  :'(

I'm guessing fuel pump as the other major failure point on these is crank pulley and that was replaced with a genuine one about 9 months ago. Crank sensor wouldn't stop you limping it home so doubt it's that.

Two last clues, I will reveal later if no correct guesses!

1 it's not chain or pump

2 to get to the offending item I have just removed,

AC compressor

PAS pump

Dipstick tube (what a pig)

And the large bracket which secures all the above....
