What Amps should the battery be on my 2.2 petrol manual 2003 Omega?
At the moment it is a 60Ah. This seems a bit low to me.

Can't confirm as not near my docs, but sounds about right. If I had to guess, I'd say 65Ahr

Had a look at that site and it says I need a 72Ah Battery. Can anyone confirm this please?
Other sites is quoting anything from 60 to 80Ah.

The battery in my car at the moment is good and only a year old according to the receipts.  But its only a 60Ah battery.

Omega archives suggest 70 Ah, so Advanced are correct, but even your present 60 Ah battery will be fine unless it is giving you trouble. Higher capacities are needed for larger engines or diesel because of the greater load imposed on the starter motor - big Ahs are only really needed for starting.
The only other point you need to check is its physical size, because there's no point in going for a really high capacity battery if it won't fit!

Ok Ron, I'll stick with the 60Ah that's on the car and change it in the winter if needed. The cars only started once a week and used local, so it doesn't ever get chance to recharge fully back up.
