I only post now when the subject is suitable for my comments, and as the forum is less humorous than it once was with people easily taking offence, especially over the now frowned upon political debates we used to have, I try to limit my comments. Pity, but probably for the best! ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D ;)

I will come in on heavy engineering and historical topics at least without fear or favour! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Serving  ice cold beer to their husbands while they watch the world cup being of paramount importance.  :y

And theres me thinking it was due to the Dartford Tunnel costs going up and your refusal to deal with Organisation North of the River Thames.   ;)

No, only those associated with my mother's side of the family in those parts.  Right snobs they are!  My Nan, a true Eastend girl, used to go off about them something chronic ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;)

No, father in the Royal Navy stationed on the Island with mother there also 1952-1954. Happened for me, and for my youngest sister who was also born there when we lived on the Island again 1962-64 8) 8)
