Presumably the retail price is some way north of that figure..... :-\

I'll see what they offer. £70 seems hopeful now for genuine GM.

I doubt you'll get it under TC price.

Put another way, the genuine discs will last for two pad changes, pattern/after market might just scrape one...

Twice the useful life for about a third extra on the price :y

£146.32.....dropped to £132.26 when I pleaded poverty...... :'(

Looks like Ebay Mintex for £43.... :-\.

They don't take TC, Al.

Looks like they are charging retail less about 5%.... :-\

If they stock go in and ask for a set...

When the spotty yoof comes back with the box, plonk £100 on the counter :y

When he looks all puzzled, explain that it's a fair price, and all you have on you... or of course, he could always cart them back to the stores ::)

£180? I could buy 3 sets of brakes for that!!

I have used Mintex discs on the front of my td auto and my dti and think they are fine for the price. I find the pads are "dirty" in that they make a lots of dust so now use Pagid and they work well without the mess.

Do bear in mind that I drive my Omega's quite sedately (as I now prefer economy and comfort than speed) and therefore the brakes do not get to much of a hard time.
