afraid not there systems aren't able to supply the on demand service.
other way is get a cable from your pc and hook it up to your TV.
You could look at using video capture software but the quality is not that great.
I would just tell her to sit down and enjoy the fact she at least didn't miss the program....

I personally have an s-video out on my laptop and pc so use a s-video to composite (the yellow rca phono type) adapter, and then a long composite video lead to either the tv or a projector depending on what i'm watching! oh and an audio lead to the hifi too

i watch loads of tv this way, either through the i-player (cause i download it then have a month to watch it), or from other sources that enable me to watch us series yet to be broadcast here!
most of the time it's as good if not better than watching on tv. although catch up tv through cable (virgin media) is good if you get there in time!
if your graphics card only has a vga out then there are adapter cables that can convert this to composite video but they can get pricey!
